Avocado and Spinach Smoothie Recipe for Weight Loss

As a conscious person aiming to lose weight, I always prefer to consume foods without baking, frying, roasting, grilling, or pressure cooking, etc., because these cooking methods can decrease vitamins and other nutrients most of the time. I’ve tried this smoothie for a long time and have been drinking it regularly. I get the fresh taste of raw spinach, and the cool feeling from its strong texture is mind-blowing. However, not every time I made it was with the same ingredients. Sometimes I change the optional ingredients for a variation in taste. Here, I share with you what you can put in and add to it.

Ingredients:

  • 1 or 2 avocado
  • 1 or 2 banana
  • A handful of fresh baby spinach
  • 1/2 cup milk (you can use skimmed milk)
  • 3 or 4 almonds (optional)
  • 1 or 2 teaspoon of peanut butter (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon of chia seeds (optional)
  • 4-5 ice cubes (optional)

Instructions:

Blend:

In a blender, smoothly throw all your ingredients—avocado, banana, spinach, milk, and any other optional ingredients—and blend them until they turn into a smooth paste or for a maximum of 1 minute. Your smoothie will be ready. Don't take too much time; just drink your smoothie on time to get the best, freshest flavor.
