Protein Salad Mix Recipe for Weight Loss
This is the final stage when you are most conscious about your weight loss journey. We all know that salad is the best food we can eat to lose excess weight. In the beginning, I tried various recipes, but when I reached the final stage, I began to eat this because we know that only vegetables, which are low in calories and high in vitamins, are the best food for weight loss. However, after eating this for a long time, I noticed that my cheeks became very sunken. So, I started adding protein to my salad. I believe this is the best recipe for overweight people. There are many ways to make a protein salad, and I’m going to share with you some of my favorites.
Ingredients:
- 1 or 2 cucumbers, sliced
- 1 or 2 tomatoes, sliced
- 1 or 2 cups chickpeas (cooked/boiled)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (cooking oil)
- 1 small onion, sliced
- ¼ tablespoon salt
- ¼ tablespoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon ginger, sliced
- 2 or 3 tablespoons coriander, sliced
- 2-3 green chilies, sliced
- ½ tablespoon lemon juice
- ¼ tablespoon roasted cumin
- ¼ tablespoon black salt
Instructions:
Prepare the Chickpeas: Get a small frying pan, then add ½ tablespoon olive oil. Keep the stove on medium heat and wait for it to heat up. Add all the chickpeas to the pan, then add ¼ tablespoon of salt and ¼ tablespoon of red chili powder. Stir them for 2 to 3 minutes, and once your chickpeas are ready, set them aside to cool.
Assemble: Take a small bowl and add the cucumber, tomato, onion, ginger, coriander, green chilies, and chickpeas. Then, add cumin, black salt, and finally squeeze the lemon juice over the bowl. Mix everything together using a spoon. Now you are ready to get the fresh taste of protein salad.
